As if one day no longer there
Without trace or clue to follow
A reflex once akin to breathing
Failed to see that days tomorrow

Closed down for not being vital
In stasis kept by keyless lock
Until such time the door was useless
The prisoner then set free to walk

Not really lost just lying dormant
Waiting to rise once more from the ashes
Only after the fact did it become clear
Everything heals when enough time passes
